JASMINE BHUVA, DDS
"We are dedicated to providing our patients with excellent, personalized care and the kind of service that makes their visits as comfortable and pleasant as possible. We are committed to keeping their smiles healthy! Some patients may feel uneasy about their dental visits, and we understand that - that's why we provide a truly relaxing and positive experience. We love the energy of the Financial District, the people it brings through our doors each day, and the long-term relationships we have developed with so many of those people."
Dr. Jasmine Bhuva received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. To further enhance her education in general dentistry, she went on to complete a general practice residency at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and the Cambridge Health Alliance. She received a certificate of advanced graduate study from Boston University after completing a two-year fellowship in implantology that focused on implant surgery and implant restorations.
In addition to general and cosmetic dentistry and implantology, Dr. Bhuva is an Invisalign® Premier Provider, performing aesthetic orthodontic treatment for teens and adults. She is an active member of the San Francisco Dental Society, California Dental Association, American Dental Society, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Bhuva is committed to continually broadening her dental education by keeping up to date with the latest technologies, treatments, and research, and by attending and participating in advanced continuing education courses.
Dr. Bhuva has recently taught part-time at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry as an adjunct clinical professor.
BRADLEY SHEPARD, DDS
"For me, being a dentist means that I have the opportunity to provide an extremely healthy service to people in the most pleasant manner possible. In doing so, I have developed trusting relationships and lasting friendships with my patients. One of the great joys of practicing in the financial district is the variety of patients who walk through our door every day. Each one brings unique goals and desires regarding their oral health. It is my goal to do everything humanly possible to make dentistry as pleasant an experience as I can, so that our patients walk out of our office not only satisfied, but surprised by their experience."
Dr. Bradley Shepard has been a leader in the field of cosmetic dentistry since he opened his practice 35 years ago. He was one of the first dentists in San Francisco to use veneers to enhance smiles.
Dr. Shepard has completed many courses in aesthetic and neuromuscular dentistry at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies - one of the most prestigious post-graduate dental programs in the U.S. He continues to study to find new ways of providing even better dental services to his patients.
A graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara, Dr. Shepard received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. He practiced dentistry in Switzerland for a year and a half, where he treated children and handicapped adults. He returned to the U.S. to open his dental practice in 1982, and has practiced at the same location ever since.
Dr. Shepard is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the San Francisco Dental Society. He has completed extensive training at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute, with expertise in cosmetics and reconstructive dentistry.
WINSTON YOUNG, DDS
“I was always fascinated with the health sciences. Dentistry created a great avenue for me because of the direct patient interactions and the physical nature of using my hands and creating art. I like educating patients because it’s important to understand what is happening to your health. I make it a point to be transparent. Throughout my career as a dentist, I’ve been privileged to meet people from all over the world and to form many friendships. I aim to make your dental visits informative and comfortable, and I hope to make you smile along the way!”
Dr. Winston Young grew up in Fremont, CA and studied at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree, as well as a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in piano. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Southern Alameda County Dental Society.
Dr. Young served as a dentist in the United States Navy for four years after graduating from dental school. He was first stationed in Groton, CT for two years, where he mostly provided care for submariners. Then he was assigned with the Seabees, the construction battalion of the United States Navy, in Port Hueneme, CA for two years. During that time he was deployed to Okinawa, Japan.
Dr. Young continues to educate himself through continued learning and makes it a priority to stay up to date with advancing technologies and techniques for an improved patient experience.
Dr. Young is delighted to connect with short and long-term patients at San Francisco Dental Partners and form lifelong relationships. He is honored to serve our community and to play a role in improving patients' health.
